It’s hard to believe my friend John Kennedy Jr. was killed, with his wife Carolyn and sister-in-law Lauren, 25 years ago today. Time does not lessen the grief and loss.
John was a personal, cultural and political connecter. A committed Democrat, he walked across the aisle with every issue of his George magazine, listening, speaking, and trying to find common ground with the other side. Needed today more than ever.
