Pela nossa Liberdade de Expressão, ajudem👇 Dear Mr. Elon Musk @elonmusk , @X I am a Professor of Law - and lawyer - who has visited, lectured, taught and researched in some of the best U.S. Law Schools (including Yale, Stanford, UTexas, Cornell, Vanderbilt, and others). I also have published in some of the best U.S. Law Reviews. Luís Ernesto Lacombe, one of the best and well-recognized Brazilian journalists, who has been a TV anchor for several of the largest Brazilian TV broadcasters and has also received several prizes for his work as a journalist, has just had his Timeline Magazine (“Revista Timeline” @RedeTimeline) completely blocked from X’s platform. This ban has been justified by X on the grounds of compliance to an entirely unconstitutional order from the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court. The order clearly contradicts Brazilian’s Federal Constitution, Law No. 12965/2014 (the “Brazilian Civil Landmark of the Internet”) as well as its own case law on freedom of speech and freedom of the press. It is essential that X defends its right not to comply with illegal orders and fight for its legitimate rights to manage its business as well as for the survival of freedom of speech, rule of law, press freedom and freedom of business activities in Brazil. @luislacombereal @ggreenwald @shellenberger @joerogan @TuckerCarlson
