The virtual meeting hosted by the UK on the Strait of Hormuz is a joke.
1. @YvetteCooperMP does not seem to be able to say that Israel and the US closed traffic by attacking Iran - there was no problem before that war of aggression.
2. Nor did she acknowledge that Iran has never closed the Strait, but the British did threaten to close it in 1951 when Iran nationalized their oil.
3. Yes, @EmmanuelMacron is right that military force by @NATO cannot succeed, but what he doesn’t say is that Iran has put the western King in jeopardy in this game of chess.
