Since dawn, Israeli forces have maintained a persistent wave of attacks across southern Lebanon, beginning with an explosion targeting Mays al-Jabal and repeated artillery shelling on the Ali al-Taher heights throughout the night and into the morning hours. As the morning progressed, Israeli attacks expanded to include ground maneuvers and heavy fire in border sectors. Israeli forces advanced toward the Shamis area on the outskirts of Kfar Shuba under the protection of two Merkava tanks to conduct search operations in woods previously burned by soldiers two days prior. Concurrently, machine-gun fire was directed at the outskirts of Shebaa, while intense artillery barrages struck between Dawhat Kfar Ruman and Dabsha Hill.
