All but mocking indigenous people resisting their occupier for their faith, which has inarguably helped them endure despite the calamities befalling them, while asking for people to contact their local representatives reveals an absurd disconnect from the people of this land and highlights the type of orientalist condescension that is rife within the foreign media landscape here in Lebanon.
