I was pleased to join U.S. Ambassador Nicole D. Theriot last evening to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Independence of the United States. Guyana and the United States share 60 years of a strong, trusted and reliable partnership, built on mutual respect, shared values and a commitment to advancing the prosperity and security of our peoples.
