Work is progressing steadily on the upgrading of internal roads in the Amerindian community of Batavia, Region Seven. During my recent regional outreach, I announced the upgrading of approximately 1.5 to 2 kilometres of internal roads to an all-weather, hard-surface standard. I am pleased to see this commitment now being delivered as we continue to improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for residents across our hinterland communities.
