I carry this little rock with me wherever I go. Its lessons. Its values. Its belief that every human being deserves to be seen. Speaking with Karen and Katie for This Is Leadership gave me the opportunity to reflect on what those lessons have taught me about leadership, service and the responsibility that comes with both. We are not perfect. None of us is. We still have a duty to do right by people, in the smallest spaces and on the biggest stages. For me, Barbados’ voice must always mean something in the lives of those who need it most.
