This evening was one of those moments in the life of our nation that we pause to recognise. I was honoured to attend the Ceremonial Parade marking the appointment of Commissioner of Police Sonia Boyce.
Watching the officers on parade was a reminder that the Barbados Police Service is built on discipline, professionalism and an enduring commitment to serving the people of this country.
My Government remains committed to supporting Commissioner Boyce and every member of the Barbados Police Service as we continue strengthening public safety, confidence and trust.
May God bless Commissioner Boyce, the Barbados Police Service, and Barbados.
