Some people leave behind monuments. Philip Tudor left behind a nation that moves because of his life's work.
For 37 years, Philip Tudor served Barbados with distinction, helping to build the roads and infrastructure that connect our communities and support our daily lives. He understood that roads are never simply asphalt and concrete. They connect people to opportunity.
Today, as we renamed the Pine East-West Boulevard in his honour, we celebrated a public servant whose legacy will continue to serve generations to come, reminding us that Barbados is built by ordinary people who dedicate themselves to extraordinary public service.
