I recently met a senior journalist in Mirzapur who covered our raids in the '80s. He asked me, "You’ve freed tens of thousands of children. What would you say was your single biggest success?"
I told him: "All the times I failed. When my colleagues and I were attacked, beaten and pushed. But we refused to give up. We returned again and again and did everything in our power until those children were free.
