A distinguished Army officer and one of India’s most respected defense analysts, his insights shaped public understanding of national security for decades. I had the privilege of meeting him once, many years ago, in a TV channel’s guest waiting room. He had a warm and charismatic presence. Heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
