Today, I remember the culmination of Bharat Yatra, the nationwide march against child sexual abuse and trafficking. The Yatra covered 11,000 km across 22 states in 2017. 800,000 people marched with us, and 1,400,000 pledges were taken. More importantly, the Yatra turned public outrage into collective action and resulted in concrete legal reforms to strengthen the protection of children from this heinous crime.
