In June, the #FightForDemocracy delivered a major victory for workers’ rights when the ILO adopted the world’s first-ever Convention on platform work. 🎉📱 And unions are already putting it into action. 💪 🇵🇭 This week in Manila, #PlatformWorkers and organisers from the Philippines, Indonesia 🇮🇩 and Cambodia 🇰🇭 joined colleagues from the @ituc, @itucasiapacific, and @ITFglobalunion to exchange strategies for national ratification and strengthen organising across major regional employers, including Grab, Gojek, foodpanda and J&T Express. 🤝 From global standards to national action. 📣 From organising to stronger worker power. ✊ The fight for decent work in the platform economy continues!
