So many people have been asking what does @realDonaldTrump’s Executiv Order on Alexandre de Moraes actions targeting Americans actually means. The U.S. government officially declared that the actions of Brazil’s Supreme Court (specifically Moraes’s censorship orders) against U.S. citizens and platforms are a threat to U.S. national security. This triggers real economic measures. That’s why the U.S. has already imposed 50% tariffs on Brazilian exports. That means Brazilian businesses lose competitiveness, shifting a lot of production to countries like Argentina and Paraguay.
