During a UN Security Council emergency meeting on Gaza happening now, US ambassador expressed deep concern of civilian deaths and almost at same time news drops that US has approved $20b in new weapons package to Israel.
I don’t think it was planned that way, but perfectly represents the frustration so many feel at US policy.
