"U.S. SANCTIONS ARE STARVING AND KILLING MY FAMILY!" During this morning's Financial Services Committee hearing in the House, a Cuban-American activist disrupted the Treasury Secretary's testimony to explain the impact U.S. sanctions are having on her family. As she was escorted out by police, she explained "They have been without power for over 24 days... They haven't had any shipments of wheat or medicine. Oil is not the only thing, and this is because of United States policy."
