Chinese won’t believe that Amtrak train from LA to Seattle (1,800 km) would take 35 hours. I couldn’t believe it when told by one who just rode on the beautiful route. China’s high speed train will get you there in 5-6 hours. I did ride from Chicago to San Francisco 20 yrs ago.
