I’m officially “retiring” from China Daily today after nearly 38 years at the paper. It’s a great time to be a journalist to witness first-hand China’s great transformation and also to be a foreign correspondent based in the U.S. and then Belgium. While I will enjoy more time traveling/exploring my own country and the rest of the world, I will certainly not stop speaking out here on Voante and may very likely continue to contribute to my weekly column on China Daily, which I have been doing nonstop for the last 16 years. They were never on my JD but I love them both.
