People talking about what “went wrong” in the defund discourse as though they weren’t active participants in using pundit speak to undermine the policy on “viability” grounds while doing nothing to actually explain it. Just a lot of “people don’t get it so we should drop it” as a way to cover for the fact that they never cared about the policy in the first place.
