"I, personally, was disappointed when President Biden came into power & he rebranded the [Yemen] war as defensive & not offensive...What does that mean? You just invented a word that never existed before in this context, & what it meant was nothing. Nothing changed on the ground. The US continued supporting the Saudi-led coalition, but now they had a rebrand behind them to make them look like they were the good guys... "I was disappointed in the months that followed that Congress was not willing to act against President Biden. And they could have questioned him harder during those months. They could've continued that ferocious drive toward ending this war once & for all now that they had a president on their side, supposedly, who came in with promises to end the war...I was very disappointed by some of these people saying, well, let's give the president a chance." -@shireen818
