President @GitanasNauseda has today confirmed the intent of Lithuania to purchase 936 Patria wheeled armored vehicles. An excellent choice and a great example of mutually beneficial defence industrial cooperation. Patria vehicles exhibit Finnish technology and craftmanship. The kind of quality that is being exported around the world. The vehicles are already in use in Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Germany, Denmark and Ukraine. They also show the strength and potential of multinational cooperation within the Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme. This is the way to develop capabilities in Europe.
