So close, but not quite: Poland’s🇵🇱 PM Donald Tusk says Europe’s dreams of competing with China🇨🇳 or the US🇺🇸 is simply a fairy tale if energy prices remain high. ‘The EU cannot remain naive for a single day longer.’ He doesn’t say that cutting off cheap Russian energy was the cause of skyrocketing European energy prices and subsequent deindustrialisation… Because stating the obvious would be a Kremlin talking point and therefore would make Tusk a Russian agent.
