Trafficking for forced criminality, including online fraud, continues to exploit African citizens particularly young people through deception, coercion, and abuse, fueling transnational criminal networks and undermining human rights, security, and development. This underscores the urgent need for coordinated continental action.
In this context, the Continental Operational Centre for Combating Irregular Migration convened a two-day meeting at the AU HQ to strengthen collaboration, enhance information-sharing, and align responses among Member States and partners towards a more effective and unified approach to protecting vulnerable youth and disrupting criminal networks. #Agenda2063
