On behalf of H.E. the Chairperson of the African Union Commission @ymahmoudali, H.E Amb. Selma Malika Haddadi @DCP_Haddadi signed a Memorandum of Understanding with H.E. Abdullah Al Musabeeh, President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA). This agreement marks the first-ever Memorandum of Understanding between the African Union and BADEA, establishing a framework for enhanced cooperation in support of sustainable economic and social development across Africa. The MoU recognises the complementary mandates, expertise and institutional capacities of our two institutions and provides a foundation for stronger coordination, the mobilisation of technical expertise and resources, and closer collaboration in advancing African-led development priorities and initiatives. Aligned with the principles and objectives of the Constitutive Act of the African Union and the aspirations of Agenda 2063:  this partnership represents an important milestone in deepening institutional cooperation and strengthening our collective capacity to deliver for the continent. Through this agreement, the African Union and @badeabank reaffirm their shared commitment to building stronger strategic partnerships, mobilising support for Africa’s priorities, and accelerating the continent’s economic and social transformation. Our objective is clear: to translate partnership into practical cooperation, resources and results that contribute to a more prosperous, integrated and sustainable Africa.
