Africa’s cities are growing fast. The question is: can housing keep up? From 8–10 April, leaders, cities and partners meet in Nairobi for the 2nd Africa Urban Forum #AUF2, to push solutions for adequate housing for all, and to agree a common African position and voice for the 13th World Urban Forum, coming up in May in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Housing is more than shelter. It is a foundation for safety, stability, and dignity, and a strategic economic and resilience asset. At #AUF2, African leaders and partners will explore how affordable housing can drive Africa’s transformation.
From political leaders and policymakers to mayors, innovators and community leaders, Africa’s urban future requires all stakeholders at the table. That’s what the Africa Urban Forum is all about: collaboration for sustainable cities in Africa.
