The AU Continental Operational Centre (COC) in partnership with @UNmigration , will host a Consultative Forum on Trafficking in Persons for Forced Criminality in Southeast Asia.

African countries have made notable progress in addressing trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants, including ratifying the Palermo Protocols and strengthening national frameworks. However, gaps in coordination, monitoring systems, and frontline response capacities remain.
The Forum will bring together senior officials and partners to strengthen cooperation, share experiences, and advance practical, coordinated responses to emerging trafficking trends, including forced criminality.
