“Africa’s future depends on what we deliver today, not just plans. CAADP Kampala must focus on action, accountability, and results to end food insecurity & transform agrifood systems”.
This was underscored by H.E. @MosesVilakati, Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development and Blue Economy @AU_DARBE said at the opening ceremony of the Continental Consultation on CAADP Kampala Result Framework and BR Indicators meeting happening 24-27 March 2026 in Windhoek, Namibia.
“We must do things differently and deliver for our people” he added. He further said that Africa faces a critical moment: over 300 million remain food insecure despite decades of #CAADP commitments, stressing on the tangible delivery beyond planning. Kampala CAADP is now the flagship program driving Africa’s agrifood transformation under Agenda 2063. It demands practical, results-oriented action, not just frameworks, he underscored.
