As Africa’s cities continue to expand, the need for safe, affordable, and sustainable housing is becoming more urgent.
In response to this growing challenge, #Kenya will host the 2nd African Urban Forum (AUF2) in Nairobi from 8–10 April 2026 under the theme: “Adequate Housing for All: Advancing Socio-economic and Environmental Transformation towards the Realization of Agenda 2063.”
The Forum will spotlight housing as more than a social need. It is a key enabler of economic growth, human dignity, environmental sustainability, and inclusive urban development. AUF2 will serve as a platform to advance dialogue, partnerships, and action towards building cities that are more resilient, productive, and aligned with the aspirations of Agenda 2063.
