In advance of the 13th World Urban Forum, Africa is shaping its common voice on housing and human settlements. The Africa Urban Forum, #AUF2 is where solutions, partnerships and ideas come together to shape the continent’s urban future.
The first Africa Urban Forum in Addis Ababa in 2024 recognised urbanisation as an irreversible trend that the continent must harness for its structural transformation. It called for sustainable and inclusive urbanisation policies, strengthened climate resilience, innovative urban financing mechanisms, and enhanced regional cooperation in line with #Agenda2063. The AUF2 will deepen dialogue and accelerate action on inclusive, resilient housing across Africa.
