Pleased to meet today with H.E. Mr. Khandakar Abdul Muktadir, Minister for Commerce of Bangladesh. I congratulated Bangladesh on the election of H.E. Mr. Khalilur Rahman as President of the 81st UN General Assembly. We also discussed Bangladesh’s active leadership in the High-level Political Forum, ongoing UN processes, priorities of my Presidency, among others. I look forward to working closely with Bangladesh to deliver practical outcomes at the upcoming SDG Summit and shape the sustainable development agenda beyond 2030.
