Europe needs an ambitious 2028–2034 MFF backed by genuine new EU own resources.
The proposed cuts cannot come at the expense of clear climate targets, a stand-alone European Social Fund or a strong cohesion policy delivering solidarity to every citizen in every Member State.
Member States have to act fast and reach an agreement before the end of 2026, while respecting the EP position in the negotiation process.
The future of the EU depends on this.
