Some good news on the domestic front at last. The appalling exchange of emails between Jeremy and Zarah Sultana led many to believe that the game was over before it had even begun. Wild rumours circulated that Maid Marion had disappeared the money brought in by Robin Hood. Nonsense. It was safe and secure in a trust guarded with staves by Friar Tuck, Will Scarlett and this was even confirmed by Little John. Tensions were very high, but the response from below and from some senior colleagues on both sides has calmed things down. Jeremy has made a strong speech in favour of unity and high-level mediation is under way to avoid anything like this while we have elected bodies locally and nationally. So dear friends and comrades relax a bit. If, as I and tens of thousands of others hope, we can start moving forward again, very little will be lost.
