Slightly puzzling John McDonnell calling for the Labour whip to be restored to Corbyn. I assume its tongue in cheek. More seriously though how many of the SCG worthies are prepared to lose the whip when they oppose the Government. It would be positive to enlarge the tiny block of dissidents who have won by opposing Labour and added to the 4 Green MPs its not a bad start. The most cheerful thing about this GE is that for the first time that I can remember a foreign policy issue (Israeli genocide in Gaza and support for it in Parliament by all major parties) has had such a big impact on British politics.
