Participating in the memorial at the @UN in honor of #NicholasHaysom brought back so many memories. What a human being he was. I struggle to find words to describe the mark he left on all of us. I will always remember his smile, even in the most difficult moments; his wonderful sense of humor; and, above all, his extraordinary compassion. These are the qualities of true leadership—and qualities our world needs so much today. I feel privileged to have known him.
