If Congress was really serious about fair elections, it would focus on enforcing the Voting Rights Act, passing the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, making Washington, DC a state, supporting Puerto Rico’s right to self-determination, and making investments in our election infrastructure to expand access to the ballot box.
