Lewelyn has lived in the U.S. for 50 years. She’s a green card holder, a lab technician at UW Medicine, and a trusted pillar in her family. Now, she’s in ICE detention while trying to come home after visiting loved ones in the Philippines. She’s part of our union family. And what’s happening to her could happen to any one of us.
