I was honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from Maryland-Bosnia and Herzegovina Exchange Council alongside my dear friend, Ben Cardin.
Serving on the Helsinki Commission was one of the defining chapters of my 45 years in the House. While we face many challenges to protect democracy, I remain hopeful that it will continue to endure.
