I am saddened by the passing of the former Congresswoman Kay Granger, a trailblazer in both Texas and national politics. I had the privilege of serving with Chair Granger on the House Appropriations Committee, working together with the shared belief of the importance of civility, consensus, & bipartisanship. My thoughts are with her family, loved ones, and the Fort Worth community at this time.
