On the margins of the African Union's extraordinary session in Luanda, I met with Sierra Leone's new Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Rahman Swarray, to discuss peace and security in Africa and the continent's instruments for conflict prevention and mediation. We also reflected on Sierra Leone's recent experience on the United Nations Security Council and on African leadership in shaping and carrying out UN reform. #newUN
