Congratulations to Dr. Khalilur Rahman (@UN_PGA) on assuming the Presidency of the eighty-first session of the General Assembly. The theme he has set for the session, restoring trust and managing transformation, speaks to a task that concerns everyone who works in and with the United Nations. The three pillars of the Charter, peace and security, development and human rights, carry that effort together. I wish him and all the member states a productive session. #newUN
