Last night at First Fridays co-presented by Artist Against Apartheid, Osiris took the stage at The People’s Forum for a set rooted in nostalgia, revolutionary politics, and stories of upbringing and growth. The evening was opened up by Israel Jones setting the tone for this album preview release for Osiris. Moving between personal memories and political reflection, Osiris featured by a big band of friends, comrades, and community brought his perspective as a Brooklyn organizer and youth educator into his music, telling stories about where he comes from, what shaped him, and the world we’re all working to change together through art, music, and organization!
