STOP SPYING ON OUR COMMUNITIES! The People’s Forum stands with the @CWAUnion, @sunrisemvmt, @SEIU, and every organization targeted by the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security’s surveillance of protected First Amendment activity. The priority of the Trump administration couldn’t be clearer: to punish anyone who dares to stand up against their billionaire agenda. In January 2026, rather than investigating the brutal ICE murders of Alex Pretti or Renee Nicole Good, the US Attorneys and DHS offices in Minneapolis opened an investigation against left-leaning political organizations participating in first-amendment protected activity, including labor unions, collectives, and a climate change advocacy group. The DHS sent spies to community organizing meetings, infiltrated group chats, and obtained financial records in what they referred to as an inquiry into “domestic terrorist financing.” None of these organizations have committed a crime. These intimidation tactics by the Trump administration are meant to silence the movement and make people afraid to organize, assemble, and speak out. We will not be silenced, and we stand with every group targeted for exercising their constitutional rights.
