Today, on the 81st anniversary of Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonization, which was immediately followed by U.S. occupation, New Yorkers are taking to the streets to stand against the ongoing military presence and annual war drills that danger the lives of millions. The same system that fuels endless war abroad starves our communities at home. We reject the lie that peace requires bases, bombs, and battlegrounds! U.S. Out of Korea! U.S. Out of Everywhere!
