Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 17th, is our penultimate session of Socialist Summer School: People vs. Billionaires — Capitalism Is a Dead End, led by Thejas Wesley and Husayn Karimi. Then, join us for our final class, on Thursday, Building a Socialist Society with Tanya Núñez. Both are part of our culminating Module, Socialism Now! Tuesday’s class will ask what path does capitalism have in store for humanity? We know that the major crises of capitalism are already here (endless war, climate crisis, and AI) and if they continue unchecked, will impose death and destruction on quite literally all the peoples of the world. We are seeing the stages of those effects now with the unpopular Iran war, the battle against data centers, and more. Together we’ll make the case that capitalism is a dead end and why it can’t, and won’t solve its own problems.  🗓️ Tuesday & Thursday of this week
