Last night’s class explored that while the major revolutions in human history have all been quite different, every single one of them began with an idea that took hold in the consciousness of masses of people and moved them to take action. We learned today that for a socialist transformation of society, a revolution that rejects the old system– that system that prioritizes war and profit over human life– is an urgent necessity. Change is only possible through the collective, conscious action of the many, fitting the needs of the people and a new system organized to provide and care for us all.
