A PES Delegation is in Israel to commemorate the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, former Israeli Labour Prime Minister.   We are in Israel to show support to Yair Golan, leader of The Democrats, ahead of the elections taking place in October 27. @YairGolan1 is the only candidate who can carry the legacy of Yitzhak Rabin.   PES Secretary General @giacomofilibeck and PES Deputy Secretary General Saar Van Bueren, together with the leader of the Democrats, Yair Golan, laid flowers at the Yitzhak Rabin monument in Tel Aviv, paying their respects to Rabin’s legacy. They also attended the official commemoration at the Mount Herzl National Military Cemetery in Jerusalem.
