🇷🇸 One year ago, the concrete canopy of the newly renovated train station of Novi Sad, Serbia, collapsed, killing travellers entering and exiting the station. The death toll would rise to 16. Protests, led by students, quickly took to the streets demanding justice, accountability and the end of systemic corruption. Vučić's government imprisoned dozens of students, cracked down on protesters, and refused to listen to their demands. We stand with the demonstrators who have been protesting for one year now. The Serbian people have the right to live in a democratic country where democracy and the rule of law are respected, and officials are held accountable for their actions.
