The UN is sounding the alarm: the world is on track for 2.8°C of global warming under current policies. The consequences are devastating: deadlier heatwaves, destructive floods, raging wildfires and rising sea levels. Trump is making matters worse. He has withdrawn the US from the Paris Agreement, rolled back climate protections and doubled down on fossil fuels. US emissions surged in 2025, recording the largest increase among the world’s biggest emitters. Europe shows that climate action can deliver. Yet conservatives and the far right are working to delay and dismantle the policies behind that progress. Europe must stick to its climate commitments. People deserve leaders who put their lives and our planet’s future before fossil fuel profits.
