If there is one message I’d like folks to take from my wide-ranging conversation with @davidrkadler from Progressive International it is this: the Trump Administration is not incompetent and buffoonish about everything. When it comes to flipping Latin America to the Mafioso hard right, Trump and Marco Rubio have been chillingly effective, in country after country. Don’t let the sideshows distract you.
